About the role

We are actively seeking  an imaginative, creative and talented E-Commerce & Marketing Assistant with excellent communication skills to join them at an exciting time in their growth strategy.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Merchandising and Buying departments the main focus of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the online business whilst working collaboratively with the wider marketing department to execute a compelling marketing strategy.

The Role is office based in Harrogate for 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 9.30-5.30pm including paid lunch break (Occasional exceptions may apply to working hours)

Part time considered.

What you'll do

Working under direction from the Marketing Manager you will be required to execute a compelling digital and instore marketing strategy

  • Part of a team responsible for the day to day running of the website including uploading images and content, editing, sales order processing and customer enquiries.
  • Sourcing and editing of image content utilising adobe creative suite.
  • Assisting in our photography studio to create content required for web uploads.
  • Involved in email marketing including new initiatives to stay relevant with the latest trends whilst driving strategic customer acquisition and retention SEO, affiliates etc..
  • Review and assist in improving the online customer experience, in collaboration with the senior management team, with emphasis on customer engagement and conversions to drive the business forward
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to increase sales.
  • Be the ambassador of the business’s visual presentation online
  • Involvement in marketing events and assistance with photoshoots.
  • Includes a variety of admin tasks and answering of office calls.

Who you are

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an E-commerce role with knowledge/understanding of digital marketing practices
  • Graphic Design experience and passion for content creation, with high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop) for image editing and marketing asset production on and offline including web banners, social assets, instore graphics.
  • Creative, innovative thinker with the ability to react quickly to trending topics.
  • Proficient at website copyrighting, proofing and updating copy in line with relevant SEO.
  • Ability to use Google Analytics and other key metrics to interpret data and drive business recommendations.
  • Proactive and organised to work autonomously, prioritising workload yet open to direction.
  • Good communicator with professional telephone manner

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within luxury, premium of high-end fashion and lifestyle including understanding of the luxury consumer.
  • Photography Qualification, Skill or general interest.
  • Social media marketing – use of Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok advantageous.
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Positive fun and enjoys being part of a growing team of like-minded individuals
