BEAM- FESTIVAL OF LIGHT- TURNING ON THE TOWN

15th March 2024 - 16th March 2024

Brand new for 2024! A two-night spectacular will illuminate the town centre on 15 and 16 March, with stunning light installations and soundscapes creating a trail through Harrogate town centre.

Visitors can explore the town’s streets to see the light installations come to life and enjoy some of Harrogate’s great hospitality businesses along the way.

Evenings from dusk til 10pm, the installations will shine a light in a few unexpected places as well as illuminating some of the town’s most iconic landmarks.

From thousands of specks of light dancing in the trees of the Valley Gardens and searchlights beaming patterns across the sky, to a serene celebration of our more tranquil spaces, our ten unique illuminations will create a rich and varied spectacle throughout the town.

There is no set route, but you can explore all the different spaces on foot and all routes are wheelchair accessible. From light beams to reflection gardens and projection there are lots of photo opportunities to enjoy along the route.

It is different to a light trail in the parks, as this event is focussed on some of Harrogate’s iconic buildings and spaces using beams that will project far into the sky.

It’s free to visit, so why not brighten up the last of the winter evenings with a unique celebration of our beautiful town.

From Monday 12th-Monday 19th you are encouraged to drop off your pre loved items with us, becoming part of a movement that revitalises the stories behind our clothing. This will allow us time to prepare your items ready for the sale.

Prices for your items will be determined by us based on experience.

If your item is purchased at the event 25% of the sale price will go to Harrogate Clothes Bank, and you will receive the remaining  75%  as credit to spend in store on current Morgan Clare stock

Terms & Conditions

Morgan Clare credit will be applied to your instore account by the 1/03/2024 ( 3 days following the event)  You will have 6 Months to spend the credit with no cash alternative.  Credit can be spent on any item/any purchase made instore only.  25% of the purchase price received on the day should your item sell will be deducted and donated to Harrogate Clothes bank.
