Castaner

Founded in 1927 by Luis Castañer in his native Spain, this family run business was originally established as an espadrille manufacturer. What was traditionally a country folk shoe became luxury fashion footwear thanks to YSL showing it in the mid 60’s, since then Castaner has produced espadrilles for some of the major fashion houses in the industry including Hermes and Celine. This season, it's all about the wedge in metallic’s and nude colours. They're a true summer staple.
